Family Photography Information

I could spend days, weeks, months even years trying to tell you just how important family photography is.

And its not until that little family isn’t so little anymore that you realise just how important those photographs really are to you.

Family photography is saving up all those moments spent with your little people, growing in to a family unit and passing it all on to your children to re-live as they look through the photographs you choose to record for them.

Growing these little people you’ll realise how massive the change in them is from one year to the next, choosing to save a little bit of how your family was at a specific time will be worth its weight in gold when your children are older.

I’m very natural in my photography so look for the moments to capture that tell a story as apposed to the very structure posed shots, which a lot of photographers in Nottingham do - which is great, its just not me.

I want to capture real, authentic moments, this way I believe we see more of your baby and their personality, making the shoot personal to you and your family.

I understand how uncomfortable it can be to have your photograph taken, believe me I hate being in front of the camera too. But I make I’ll make it as pain free as possible, you’ll be distracted with your children, playing, laughing, joking around that you won’t even know I’m there.

Of course I’ll direct you in terms of best lighting and most flattering angles, but trust me they just want to see you having fun with them and at the end of the day, that is all that matters, not what your hair looked like or what you we’re wearing, just the love you have for them.

I’m a photographer based in Nottingham, the East Midlands, so fairly central. I find I have clients travel to me from all over, going from Leicestershire, Sheffield and even Birmingham.

I have two options for family photography, either in my all white naturally lit studio based in Nottingham, or on location for more of a natural feel.
